Extech EZ40 EzFlex Combustible Gas Detector • 16” gooseneck • Set at 10% LEL • High sensitivity to pinpoint gas leak The Extech EZ40: EzFlex Combustible Gas Detector is able to quickly identify a leak of combustible gases within a given area, like an industrial workplace, and pinpoint where the leak is coming from. This is an essential device for any company or workplace that works with dangerous gases. The EZ40 is capable of detecting natural gas, methane, ethane, propane, butane, acetone, alcohol, ammonia, steam, carbon monoxide, gasoline, jet fuel, hydrogen sulphide, smoke, industrial solvents, lacquer thinner and naphtha via the use of its solid state sensor which is connected to a flexible gooseneck probe for bending the sensor into difficult applications. This gas detector is also highly sensitive to changes in the environment and includes a thumb controlled sensitivity adjustment wheel which can be used to filter out the effects of background gas levels. Also included on the EZ40 are visible and audible alarms at 10% ( LEL) lower explosive limit for methane.
