To carry out measurements the AN100 uses a built-in vane sensor which is equipped to the main testing unit via a 3.9ft ( 120cm) cable. This enables the user to easily position the vane inside difficult areas such as ducts, but this product can also be used for a wide variety of different applications including HVAC installation, repair, diagnostics and optimisation, fume hood testing, installation and verification, environmental wind and temperature testing, boiler rooms, ioniser flow output monitoring and much more. When measuring air velocity the AN100 features the ability to measure in different units. These are: 0.40 to 30.00 m/ s, 1.4 to 108.0 km/ h, 80 to 5906 ft/ min, 0.9 to 67.2 mph and 0.8 to 58.3 knots. The device can also measure CMM and CFM airflow levels and can measure temperature of the air from 14 to 140° F ( -10 to 60° C) .
