Extech 382400 Flexible True RMS 3000A AC Current Clamp • True RMS ensures waveform interference doesn' t affect testing accuracy • Flexible current probe • Test voltages up to 600V This uniquely designed clamp meter is made for testing large cables, bus bars and cable bundles. Unlike most other clamp devices the 382400 does not use built-in jaws to measure. Instead it ships as standard with a 24" ( 61cm) flexible current probe, an accessory that is flexible enough to bend around larger applications and carries out measurements of larger systems. The cable clips together around the application being tested, meaning it is always securely in place during testing. Once the probe is equipped this clamp meter can carry out measurements of AC current from 3 to 3000A with max resolution of 0.1A and basic accuracy of ± 1% , AC voltage measurements from 4 to 600V with max resolution of 0.1V and ± 0.5% accuracy and also carries out frequency evaluations from 45 to 65Hz. It is also possible to change the frequency from 50 to 60Hz operation, calculations MAX and MIN values and simultaneously displays frequency with either a current or voltage reading on the built-in 4000 count LCD display. The 382400 will also shut itself down when left idle in order to conserve the battery life.
