Although small in size and lightweight, this tester is still packed full of functionality. The main testing procedures the Extech 380940 can perform including AC/ DC power evaluations, AC/ DC current evaluation, AC/ DC voltage calculations and frequency calculations. Results are expressed both via a numerical readings and also as a fast 40 segment analogue bargraph on the devices' LCD screen ( 4000 count) . When carrying out AC voltage and current measurements the 380940 uses true-RMS technology to ensure measurements accuracy at all times. The device will also power down when left idle for an extended time period and can features jaw opening of 0.9" ( 23mm) . This clamp testing device is EN 61010-1 compliant and CAT II 600V safety rated.
