It is a device suited for use in a wide variety of environments, and is built in a heavy-duty waterproof and drop-proof ( to a height of 6 feet) casing designed to protect the device when it is used in dangerous environments like up ladders, or inside industrial complexes where other multimeters might be easily damaged. The EX530 is also the highest resolution DMM available in the EX500 range, and comes with 40000 count resolution. It' s also the most accurate of all of the DMMs available in this range, and comes with basic accuracy of 0.06% . In terms of measurement capabilities, this device is incredibly versatile, with 11 measurement functions available as standard. It can measure DC/ AC voltage levels, DC/ AC current, resistance, capacitance, two types of frequency ( electrical and electronic) , temperature, duty cycle and diode continuity, with multiple measurement ranges available for each parameter. Portable and lightweight, the EX530 is great for carrying around during extensive testing procedures, and is easily operable using just one hand. It also comes with a selection of advanced features such as true RMS technology that enhances testing accuracy, MIN/ MAX measurements, a relative mode and a data holding facility for temporarily storing test data.
